You can put this one under the “probably not going to happen” file, but British retailer GAME is listing a Rogue Squadron game for the Wii. GAME does not list VC games and the price point is at £29.99, so this does seem to be a full retail release of some sort. If it is real this could mean a brand new Rouge Squadron or a re-release of the original game.

For me, all three games in the series were a blast, but I still have the fondest memories of the original. If this is a port/update I’m hoping it’s either the original or a compilation of all three. Then I hope it sells really well. Then I hope they make a new one. Then I want a puppy, but that doesn’t really have anything to do with this.

Don’t be too alarmed by the publishing credit on the GAME page. Activision Blizzard has published LucasArts games in Europe for a decent amount of time now, if not always.
