Playfish’s demon-scourging first-person adventure, Hellion: Mystery of the Inquisition got new screens today. That means very little to most of you, since it’s a new IP, and therefore, not very interesting to you. Still, the game itself has a wonderful premise, so we will cover it whether you pay attention or not.
Hellion charges players with exorcising the thralls of evil in 13th Century Europe, performing the Church’s dirty work while bumping into historical figures. It certainly has promise, although this is indeed an untested studio. I hope it turns out well. I hate it when great ideas fall short thanks to budget or skill constraints.
