Valve has confirmed that some handy changes are coming to Left 4 Dead 2‘s Versus mode, mostly giving a little boost to those of the Infected persuasion. Infected teams who find themselves lacking a few players will no longer have to go it alone, as Infected bots will now replace missing players as standard.
Another really helpful change will be the fact that auto-spawns no longer happen during finales. This is splendidly good news as the auto-spawns in Left 4 Dead 2 started getting really borked. I once spawned right in front of a Survivor, who of course shot me dead before I could even do anything. This won’t be a problem in future.
The update will arrive for both the Xbox 360 and superior PC versions. Good time for all!
