Recently, Sony sat down and chatted it up with a bunch of film-industry people I’ve never heard of. And Samuel L. Jackson.

The topic was supposedly Heavy Rain, although I’m not sure the people being interviewed knew that. Instead, they speak on the broad theme of the upcoming Quantic Dream title: “How far would you go for love?” Samuel L. Jackson’s answer is clear.

“Not very,” he says as he scratches the back of his neck.

As to what he’d do to the person who abducted his daughter, the actor has it all mapped out.

“If that happened to my daugher,” he explains, “I’d probably be spending money for somebody in prison to say, you know, don’t kill him. But make sure you fuck him every day… whisper my name in his ear while you do it.”

Heavy Rain is out this week, and Samuel L. Jackson is going to ignore all of the button prompts when he plays it.
