I can’t decide if I’m actually excited by the live-action Space Battleship Yamato (a.k.a. Star Blazers) movie, or if I just love elderly Japanese space captains who are very possibly drunk out of their minds. He’s just so cute with his Santa beard and little ascot! I hope he is drunk, though, because it provides a bit of an excuse for him getting totally owned by those other spaceships. Not a particularly good excuse, but an excuse. (Via Blastr)
