Is it too soon to say that SyFy’s U.S. adaptation of BBC’s Being Human is crap? Yes, but I’m a terrible person, and I don’t really care. Sure, this is just a teaser with absolutely no footage whatsoever, but it already looks like SyFy is handling its version of the moody, clever British supernatural series with the ham-fisted treatment they gave The Phantom (which provided much of its staff for this adaptation, alas). I suppose I should be grateful that SyFy didn’t use “Monster Mash” for the commercial, but I feel upsettingly confident that it was seriously considered. (Via io9)
