If you needed another reason why Dragon Con was awesome — and I’m not sure wjhy you would — you could do worse than this tauntaun sleeping bag race, held on the 10th floor of the Marriott during the con. ThinkGeek, makers of the sleeping bag, sponsored the race and gave out prizes; Geeks of Doom captured the event on camera, and did pre-coverage and post-race interviews (check ‘em out here). I have to admit, I greatly approve of the Chewbacca obstacle and the participant dressed as the Tenth Doctor. I also approve that they used tauntaun sleeping bags; if they’d used real tauntauns, it probably would’ve made quite a mess, and definitely smelled horrible. Of course, they’d certainly have kept warm.
