Archie Comics is doing a Mega Man comic series, which is news, but news that wouldn’t normally get a Topless Robot article. That is, until my pal Alex Kropinak — animator of Marvel’s incredibly good-looking “What The?!” toy videos — made this preview video for the comic, using the comic art. Let me assure you, Archie did not send him 18 different faces of Dr. Light; he animated all of himself, and it’s just absurdly awesome. It’s pretty much the greatest motion comic I’ve ever seen, and that includes all of Marvel and DC’s professionally made work. So that’s the news. The kid’s a genius. That is all.
