You know how some things are awful, and some are awesome. And some things are so awful that they go around the scale and become awesome. And, theoretically, something could be so awful that it turns awful but then overshoots and actually becomes kind of awful again. which brings up to these:

​Adidas’ new Star Wars Droid sneakers, available for $110 on their site. The outside of each shoe is R2-D2-themed, while the inside the the bright gold of C-3P0. In my head, the awful/awesome scale started spinning around so fast the pointer actually flew off and took flight to a faraway land, where hopefully no one ever, ever wears shoes that look like these.
