Firefly was a television show created by Joss Whedon that was abruptly canceled before its time. It had everything going for it, except for a nervous Fox television station, a mixed up episode line-up, and a constantly changing time-slot.

But, enough about that!

As Whedon has shown in both Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, the musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and his self-directed episode of Glee - he knows his way about creating engrossing television with musical numbers.

So, what would have happened if Firefly would have been a musical?

In one word – Epic.

YouTube user raidenshred lovingly created a mash-up of various Firefly scenes with a huge variety of music. The video is amazing, and shows you the briefest glimpse of what Firefly could have been.
