The new Smurfs film, which will be released by Sony Animation Studio’s in 2011, just released its new teaser trailer.
Like all teaser’s, not much is revealed beyond the basic information – Namely, that SMURFS are COMING SOON.
Sadly, we don’t get to hear any dialog from the Smurfs, Gargamel (played by Hank Azaria), or Neil Patrick Harris’ character. In fact, there is no dialog spoken by any character.
All in all, it is a fairly standard teaser that is formulaic and not very original. Just think, how many movie trailers have the music to “Wild Thing” in them?
The video can be found below, complete with an introduction to it from Neil Patrick Harris, the main human star of the film.
