What’s up nerdbastards, it’s Friday and we all know what time it is. No, it’s not time to do your weekly laundry, it’s another edition of ‘Sexy Cosplay of the week’. This is that special time of the week when we give a special cosplayer her week in the limelight. Everyday they dress up as their favorite characters and this is where they get to show off the goods (their costumes I mean).

It’s always awesome to see a woman that’s comfortable in their own skin. It’s another to shed any inhibitions you had and dress up as a half naked anime character for a 3 day convention, just check out Comic-con. It brings out the good in you to know that somehow, somewhere, there’s ladies who’d rather dress up as Sailor Moon before they dress like Paris Hilton.

This week we speak the name of (drumroll please):

Angel Hitomi

Cosplaying since 1998, the Italian beauty known as Angel Hitomi has cosplayed as almost every anime, manga, comic or movie character you could think of. That’s right, Italy does cosplay too and if it was an Olympic event, Italy would be winning gold every 4 years. This webmaster (she runs her own site) has a degree in accounting and in Japanese language and culture. She also privately teaches the English and Japanese language, so you know she’s good with her tounge. The Virgo, born on August 31st, enjoys shopping, make-up, fitness and (get this) metal, rock and classic music. A cosplayer that loves metal, put her in the hall of fame, right now.

Since Angel Hitomi has been cosplaying since 1998 she must have built up quite a collection of costumes by now. Taking part in convention events as anyone from Final Fantasy X’s Rikku to her own inspired pieces, she knows what she wants. Having 32 costumes to choose from doesn’t hurt at all, having your own fanbase just adds icing to her cake. When she isn’t modeling in between convention events she can booked to appear at events, serious inquires only, chumps need not apply. Any time you wonder “Is Angel Hitomi coming to my convention?” just check out her schedule on her homepage (AngelHitomi) Italy has exported some fine work to it’s neighbouring nations: cars, cheeses, fine wines and now Angel Hitomi.

Anyone that has Angel Hitomi is at a convention people stare, in a good way. Everyone wants to take a photo or get any autograph, just remember to ask first. A punch hurts no matter what is padding the hands that hit you. It’s great to see ladies that not only make their own costumes (she keeps everyone she makes), they know how to market themselves to an adoring fan culture. With eyes that say’s “watch me” and a body that say’s “watch this” Angel Hitomi is nerdbastards choice for this week’s ‘Sexy Cosplay of The Week’.
