Whoa. Totally didn’t see this coming.
Despite being moved to the infamous Friday night death slot, Fringe – which follows the adventures of a group of government agents investigating the supernatural side of science – has been renewed for a fourth season. Though the last episode hit a ratings low point, I guess no none can say no J.J. Abrams. FOX Entertainment Chief Kevin Reilly recently said, “It’s a fantastic show, and honestly I’d be heartbroken if it went away.”
OK, now I’m scared. First Comedy Central renews “Futurama”, the best animated show on television, for two 13-episode seasons through 2013, and now FOX renews the best hour-long Sci-Fi wackness on television for a full 22-episode fourth season despite the current ratings?!
What alternative dimension did we fall in?
