The 19th Australian Institute of Physics Congress is expected to attract hundreds of attendees from education, government, medical, and industry backgrounds, convening to discuss a broad range of physics topics.  The congress will incorporate the 35th Australian Conference on Optical Fiber Technology, and the Australian Optical Society will also hold an associated event.  Invited speakers for the AIPC include Chris Dainty, Martin Green, and Katarina Svanberg.
