David Tennant, famous for his portrayal of the titular character from Doctor Who, is rumored to be one of the actors being considered to replace Edward Norton as Bruce Banner in Joss Whedon‘s Avengers, Digital Spy reports.  It was reported here yesterday that Mark Ruffalo is believed to be in late stage discussions regarding the role, and to be honest, the Tennant rumor feels a bit… rumory.  But it would be interesting to see what he would do with the role.

Another name that is being thrown around by fans is Sharlto Copley, who recently played Murdock in the recent A-Team movie.  He was the top pick in a poll conducted at CBM, and I actually could see him being a good fit for Dr. Banner.

The truth will likely be revealed next week at SDCC, but in the meantime, who would you like to see since we can’t have Norton?
