A while back, BOOM! Studios announced a new, boutique imprint entitled BOOM! Town. Through it, they hoped to release more quirky, left-of-center books and merchandise the mainstream would be unlikely to get. What’s their latest release? R. Crumb’s Mr. Natural Postcard Book!
Mr. Natural, for those reading that didn’t grow up as a hippie in the 70s or have parents that did, is a “fly by night, white bearded guru” from that era. The book will feature 24 perforated postcards with the wise one dishing out advice to other popular Crumb characters.
The Mr. Natural Postcard Book will be available in finer comic shops for $11.95 this August.
