
With the casting of Spider-Man just announced it’s only appropriate that our Geek of the Week can actually clim up walls using a vacuum suit that he invented. The the vacuum powered wall-climbing suit was made by 13-year-old Hibiki Kono. He can now go out in the world as a real live superhero, it’s like a character right out of The Tick universe known as Vacuum Man.
Using a pair of 1,400-watt vacuums he purchased at UK retailer Tesco, Hibiki Kono hooked them up to a couple of large suction pads, and proceeded to ascend a vertical surface with the contraption strapped to his back and arms.
