When The Vampire Diaries first started I was really skeptical of it because I simply thought it was going to be Twilight for TV and I was wrong. The Vampire Diaries is completely different and in my mind much better! Bring on the haters! Now I don’t like the fact a vampire can slip on a ring and walk around in daylight but the writing is great and the girls aren’t bad to look at either. So with that being said check out the specs below for the 22-episode first season box set.

From Warner Home Video The Vampire Diaries Season One will release on DVD and Blu-ray on August 31st 2010.
