In the not too distant past (circa 2008 and earlier) it was easy to keep track of each new massively multiplayer title as it was announced. I would excitedly investigate every new game and quickly write up a post announcing the discovery.
These days, with new MMOs being unveiled for the first time or being hauled over and localized from another nation every damn day, I tend to ignore the games, thinking I’ll read up on them later. For the past two years I’ve been feeling…overwhelmed…by the immense number of MMOs out there. I don’t think I’m alone in this feeling either.
Here’s a partial list of recently announced MMOs I have neglected to mention (until now); TALES OF FANTASY, BATTLE OF THE IMMORTALS, FORSAKEN WORLD, KUNG FOO!, DUNGEON FIGHTER ONLINE, TAIKODOM, BRIGHT SHADOW, BLACKSHOT, CRAFT OF GODS, and TANADU.
Whew. That helps get things in order. Slightly.
