Kids toys are always pretty weird, but this commercial for a new toy kinda blew my mind. It’s obviously trying to play off the hype and addictive nation of children by making them appear to have tons of variety, you know, the “collect ‘em all” mentality. But…. It’s freaking toy hamsters with wheels that wear armor. Yup. Literally, toy car hamsters decked out in armor that are pit against each other in an apparently epic battle.
Really, words do it no justice. Take a peek.
But then of course, it does make me happy to see that the king of collectibles still reigns supreme in many-a-child’s hearts. This kid takes his Pokemon seriously, as this video shows him playing on 3 separate games at once to attempt to find a rare Pokemon. When he does, well, he probably soiled himself to say the least. The fun starts at about 35 seconds. Check it.
“I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS. I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS.” – I really thought he was near a stroke at this point, classic.
Well, that’s your Sunday video childhood supplement. Have a good one!

He is certainly an…enthusiastic player.
As geeky as that kid was, I’d be proud to call him my kid! He’s truly one dedicated little dude….still a virgin, but dedicated.
I so want to play this kid in a game with voice-chat. Win.

I think he found it
Okay, so I’m a bit older than the Pokemon generation so I’m clueless here. What is it that he found? It has to be something he knew was there, but what does he gain in game by finding this?
It’s extremely hard to find – so he gets the satisfaction of knowing he found it… Other then that, It might have some unique abilities.. but it’s rarity is what makes it so valued.
