More ways to do Web TV than giant, full keyboard remotes



You’ve no doubt read plenty in recent weeks about Google TV and the Intel Smart TV platform. To make both of these efforts workable, users will need a full keyboard on their “remote,” a fact that has left us less than enthusiastic about these first, large-scale attempts at fusing the web and TV.

So when we arrived at CES, we were looking for alternatives. Surely there are other ideas for how to marry TV to the online world that don’t involve giant, overcrowded remotes. We found two promising alternatives, one from LG and another from Panasonic.
